If you’re looking for a neat and stylish look for windows then Wave curtains could be the perfect option for you.
Wave curtains give a sleek and modern finish to any window thanks to an innovative curtain heading system. Here’s an overview of what makes Wave curtains different and key advantages over traditional curtain heading styles.

So what is a wave curtain?
Wave curtains use a unique, minimalist track that gives a more contemporary finish to traditional curtains – creating a sleek design statement in your home. When open, wave curtains will hang directly below the track in a neat and uniform style and when closed the fabric falls in a continuous wave design. They offer an alternative to more traditional headings such as pinch pleat, pencil pleat or eyelet which rely on a visible curtain pole and sometimes the fabric can appear bunched up. The installation of wave curtains mean that they will always fall in a uniform manner keeping the final look sleek and tidy.
Do they only suit modern design schemes?
Wave curtains are extremely versatile and will look good in any home. The beauty of the discreet track means that your curtains will be the focal point of your windows and you can choose whatever fabric colour and design to suit the rest of your interior scheme. They can also be installed with a pelmet if you want a more traditional finish.
Wave curtains are ideal for all types of home as well as commercial environments, from offices through to yoga studios!
Can I use any curtain fabric?
Wave curtains will work with lots of different fabric types, however there are some which may be unsuitable. Please check with one of our experts if you’re unsure. As a rule voiles, lined cotton, interlined silks and blackout lined curtains will work well with the wave system. Fabrics that aren’t as suitable are stiff fabrics and materials with heavy embroidery, vertical stripes and metallic threads.
Our local Apollo experts will help you choose the right fabric for the Wave system and ensure it’s fitted correctly.
Are there different options for the wave spacing?
Yes, you can choose a track with either a 60mm or 80mm spaced wave glider cord. The 80mm will offer a deeper wave with a larger distance from the front to the back. The 60mm wave is shallower and smaller front to back, which lends itself to smaller recesses but will have a slightly larger stack back.
Is there a motorised option?
Wave curtains can be installed with an electric track system which is ideal for heavier curtains or if you want that little bit of extra luxury. You can also choose a corded system.
